Your Data.
Your Infrastructure.
Your Rules.
We design, deploy and maintain secure, self-hosted infrastructure for family offices and financial institutions — from bare metal to private cloud, built on open-source software and open hardware. Your data stays under your control and under Swiss law, never on a US hyperscaler.
Engineered by a veteran infrastructure specialist with deep expertise in the Canonical suite — the same rigour we apply to financial mandates, applied to your digital foundation.
On-Premises
Full deployment within your facility. Maximum control, zero cloud dependency — absolute data sovereignty within your own walls.
Managed Private Cloud
The simplicity of cloud, none of the exposure. Operated exclusively for you — your keys, your data. No shared tenancy. No US jurisdiction.
Private AI Agents
AI agents running locally on your own data, alongside AMEXA's systematic strategies. Nothing leaves your environment.
Infrastructure as code: reproducible deployments, no configuration drift, less manual work.
Distributed storage, replication, disaster recovery and business continuity — no single point of failure.
Automated patching, health monitoring and validated updates to reduce exposure to known vulnerabilities.
GNU/Linux, open-source software and open hardware — transparent, auditable, free of vendor lock-in.
Where Finance Meets Sovereign Infrastructure
Proprietary trading models run on your GPU cluster — no cloud latency, no data leakage.
Your FX policy manager and derivative book hosted in a sovereign environment you control entirely.
Embedded experts — including your CISO — operate within your secure infrastructure by design.
Train your team on the same sovereign stack they will use daily — from derivatives to AI infrastructure.
Questions about sovereign infrastructure
What is digital sovereignty?
Digital sovereignty means keeping control over your data, your infrastructure and the software that runs on it, and knowing which legal jurisdiction applies to them. For a family office or a financial institution it means your data stays on systems you control, under Swiss law, not on a third-party platform.
What is the difference between data sovereignty and data residency?
Data residency is about where data is physically stored. Data sovereignty is about who has legal and operational control over it. Data stored in a Swiss data centre can still be reachable by foreign law if the provider operating it is based abroad. A sovereign setup addresses both the location and the control.
What is a sovereign cloud or sovereign private cloud?
A sovereign cloud is a private cloud operated exclusively for you, with your keys, your data and no shared tenancy. It gives you the convenience of cloud services without exposure to a foreign hyperscaler. AMEXA builds it on open-source software and delivers it either on your premises or as a managed private cloud.
What is the difference between on-premises and a managed private cloud?
On-premises means a full deployment inside your own facility, with zero cloud dependency. A managed private cloud is operated for you by AMEXA, exclusively for your organisation. In both cases your data stays under your control and no US jurisdiction applies to the infrastructure.
Why use an open-source stack?
Open-source software and open hardware are transparent and auditable, and they remove vendor lock-in. The AMEXA stack uses Proxmox VE for virtualisation, Ceph for distributed storage, OPNsense for network security and Canonical Ubuntu as the operating environment, with infrastructure managed as code.
What are local AI agents and a private LLM?
Local AI agents are AI systems that run inside your own environment on your own data. A private LLM is a language model hosted on your infrastructure instead of a public service. Because nothing leaves your environment, confidential portfolio, client and strategy data stays protected.
How does a private data centre support quantitative and systematic strategies?
Trading models can run on your own GPU cluster, with no cloud latency and no data leakage. Your hedging tools, FX policy and derivative book can be hosted in the same sovereign environment. AMEXA's systematic strategies can run alongside your own models.
How does this improve cybersecurity for a family office or financial institution?
Security is built in: automated patching, health monitoring, validated updates, replication and disaster recovery, with no single point of failure. Embedded experts, including a CISO as-a-Service from the Finance as-a-Service offering, can operate within your secure infrastructure.
Who is this offering for?
The offering is directed at family offices, financial institutions and other professional clients and qualified investors. Every enquiry is handled with full discretion.
